A pair of gilt ormolu-mounted sevres-style porcelain vases and covers, with continuous view foliate raised body miniature, painted after paintings of Boucher on a continuous landscape. The cover, neck and socle are in cobalt-blue, ornamented with stripped gilt oeil de perdrix, the shoulders are flanked upright gilt-ormolu winged acanthus-scroll handles with suspending rings with beaded wreath elongated from the miniature itself, the domed lid is surmounted with a gilt-ormolu pinecone finial, raised on a conforming socle and engraved gilt-ormolu circular footed base.
